MAIN TRAINING CAMP 2010

For those players who have been invited back, Main Training Camp begins Friday, July 2nd.  Out of town players will need to arrive no later than July 1st.  Below is the updated Main Camp Schedule and Itinerary.

Things required for main Camp:
 
We will be sleeping in the gym at Edward Milne High School in Sooke:
 
·        Money for 3 evening meals
·        Clothing for 3 days
·        Blow-up mattress or mat
·        Sleeping bag and pillow
·        Indoor footwear
·        Personal grooming kit, soap & shampoo
 
Registration and team fees of $400.00 will be collected at main camp. This is mandatory for playing for the Rebels.
Please make all cheques payable to the Victoria Rebels.
 
Please also bring the following to camp:
1.      Photocopies of Photo ID, Birth Certificate and Health Card, and;
2.      Consent Letter from Parent or Guardian (if under 19)
3.      A completed CJFL Registration Form (signed by a Parent if under 19);
 
Please complete the online drug seminar before coming to camp (if possible) required for all CJFL players. The link is on the Rebels website.

July 2nd  – 8:30 am Coaches meeting in Sooke - in Seminar Room
             Players start to set up gym with sleeping gear
 Players meeting 9:15am – 10:00am
             Practice 10:00am – 11:45
             Punt team 11:50 – 12:15
             Lunch 12:15 – 1:00  in Cafeteria – Rookie Jokes
            1:00 – 2:30 pm Player registration in the foyer
            2:30 – 4:00pm players free time
            4:00pm Coaches meeting / Players get changed
            4:20 – Positional meetings
            4:40 – O & D meetings
            5:00pm – 7:00 pm practice  
            7:00pm - 9:00pm players on their own for dinner 
            8:30 – Mandatory Team Meeting in the Theatre for players
            9:30 – Movie
 
July 3rd8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast
 8:45 am Coaches meeting in Sooke – in seminar room
             Offensive and defensive meetings 9:30am – 10:30am (be dressed)
             Practice 10:30am – 12:20
             Punt Return team 12:20 – 12:40
           Lunch 12:45 – 1:45 –  in Cafeteria Rookie Jokes
            1:45 – 4:15 pm players free time
            1:45 – 4:15 pm Drug seminar in the computer lab for offensive players
            4:30 – Positional meetings
            5:00 – O & D meetings
            5:30pm – 7:15 pm Practice
            7:15pm - 7:30 KOR
            7:30 – 9:00 players on their own for dinner
            9:00pm – Team meeting in the gym / Rookie entertainment
            9:30 – Movie

            3:30pm Coaches meeting / Players get changed
            4:00pm – O & D meetings
            4:30pm – 6:15 pm Scrimmage
            6:30 – clean out gym
            7:00pm - BBQ – put on by the board
            Leave school and go to billets

 Team Fees -  NOW DUE!  Fees for all players invited back to Main Camp are due now.  For players wishing to have their fees sponsored or wish to earn additional cash for themselves and the team.  Please click on the following link for the sponsorship form.  The fees for 2009 are $400 per player.

 Practice Schedule & Information

Helmets and shoulder pads on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm from now on until main training camp starts July 2.  Mondays are full team practice and Wednesdays are for QBs, Recs, DBs only.
