Meet Jeneece Edroff 

When Jeneece was 3, she was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis. Within six months of her diagnosis, her spine began to twist and she developed a limp. Variety the Children's Charity paid for a body brace that Jeneece needed to hold off on devastating spinal surgery that would have shortened her life dramatically. It was a cost that her family could not afford. The body brace bought Jeneece time to grow. Just after Jeneece's 5th birthday she appeared on the Variety Show of Heart's Telethon with Bob McGrath and Big Bird of Sesame Street.

At the age of 7 Jeneece started a penny drive. She wanted to give back to Variety for all their help with the family's medical costs. Her collection brought in $164.00; she decided to expand that drive, by asking the local media to assist her. That year she raised a phenomenal $27,000.00. She set herself a new goal to raise $1,000,000.00 for BC Special Kids. Businessmen laughed as such an auspicious goal.

Jeneece is now 15 years old and has raised a phenomenal $1.5 Million for BC's Special kids. From that dream this website was developed. Jeneece understood at a very young age that nothing is impossible and "NO" is not a word in her vocabulary. Due to the medical issues that she has had to endure, Jeneece understood early, the needs of other children and the challenges their families face. Jeneece wants to inspire others to do what she has done and to get involved. Her dream is to encourage the spirit, passion and drive in youth and adults alike, to help and volunteer in their communities.

This website is also designed to provide awareness around the Jeneece Edroff Society and to provide an avenue for donations to assist Jeneece in the projects that she will be directly involved with. "I am a bit like a penny, by myself, I am not worth much, But with a little help and lots of pennies, you can achieve a lot. Every penny counts and even the smallest person can make a difference."
